Da Mystery Road Trip, Days Five and Six, Part One

Ho, we were so tired da night of Day Four. I think part was having to leave Auntie dem after such a short visit… was really emotional foa me. Den we have one long day on da road and neva wen get to our motel till about 10 p.m. That day, we wen put about 450 miles on da car and about ten hours of driving. Wow. A Blog Award!

Diana over at Otterwise just honored me with the Deborah award.

This award was created by Ces, a fabulous artist. I love what she said about Deborah and her oak:

I’m really touched. Mahalo nui, Diana. I especially love the part about shipbuilding because I’ve had a love affair with boats, ships, and sailing ever since my dad first took my brother and I down to Kewalo Basin where he used to work on sailboats. Later on, he’d take my brother and I sailing.

Brings back good memories for me…

Da Mystery Road Trip

Nolemana and I going take one mystery road trip. No mystery to us but. I going try post every day during da six days we going be gone wit a few photos and stuffs about what we stay seeing along da way. Oni ting? I not going tell u wea we stay till we holoholo ka‘a back home. Heh heh. We stay going leave on Saturday. We could be going mauka, makai, moa mauka, oa less mauka. Oa we could go ’round and ’round and ’round. So all my chree readahs can try guess wea we stay each day.

When we get back home, den I going show plenny photos and tell u wea we wen go. Have fun guessing!
