It’s Starting to Look Like a Sweater!!

A Loaf of Bread, A Cup of Wine and Thou?

A Coat of Many Colors, In Blanket Form

A special friend of mine has knitted two of these fabulous blankets, and I have long admired them.  So about a year and a half ago, my friend “Snowflake” and I decided to knit our own.  My friend passed on all her yarn to us, and Snowflake and I began our blankets together, here at my house.  They are each named “Joseph”, after the story in the Bible. Finished Objects: Baby Blankies

A Sweater For Nolemana, Part Two: Trusting the Process

This afternoon I spent a wonderful two hours with some special friends at Aloha Espresso in Damascus, where we all kitted, talked stories, and drank coffee or tea.  I took along my Joseph’s Coat blanket, which I began knitting over a year ago and have been sluggish about finishing.  Other yarns and projects have called to me, and I  followed their siren songs and entreating voices.  What can I say?
