We made the right hand turn onto Montana Highway 28 right before the town of Plains.

Saw this wowzie spread shortly after we made the turn.

We were really enjoying this drive. Seeing the beautiful mountains ahead of us, and forested areas along the way made for a really great experience.

Roller coaster road!

We’ve now dropped down out of the mountainous area. The hills were pretty, too. It’s always so much fun to explore areas we’ve never been to before.

Oh my goodness! Somebody used to live here!

I wonder what it would’ve been like years years ago to live out here year ’round. I’m guessing it could get pretty lonesome at times, yeah?

Looks like we’re coming into civilization.

We’re not going to Perma. That’s a hint!

Yes, we’re heading toward Kalispell.

What a cool old barn!! I love its shape. I would’ve loved to explore inside…I think.

A much newer barn further along the road; it’s obvious that someone lives here.

Oh wow!! What’s that up ahead?? Yeah, I know. Water. Flathead Lake!
