I’m knitting Raymond’s socks out of Blue Moon Fiber Arts’ “Socks That Rock” yarn. This yarn does rock! It’s a joy to work with. I love everything about it. What I don’t love are the mistakes I’m making, requiring more frogging than I have time for. Gah! I had to take out most of the gusset because I’d forgotten to knit every other row instead of decreasing. But now the gusset is pau and I’m onto the foot… hoping I will have enough yarn for the second sock. I don’t know if every socknitter worries like this, but I think it’s gonna be close. I’m going to leave the toe undone on the first sock until I’m sure I have enough yarn. If necessary, these socks will have purple toes!
Yesterday I put the sweater on some waste yarn so I could try it on Nolemana without it coming off the needles. I was really nervous, scared it was going to be too small. It looks too small on the needles, probably because it doesn’t have any sleeves yet. But it’s looking good! I think it’s going to be okay. Yay! So back to the ’round and ’round knitting… it’s kinda mindless, but it’s okay… I can be pretty mindless myself sometimes!
Eh, dont knock it! Mindless is good. I like the green one. Is that a sweater too?
I love mindless! I can say, “Wat? Bodda u? I mindless anden!”
