Keiki Gifts

K’den, here’s the photos of two projects that are pau [finished].  One of my sister-in-law’s kids and his wife just had a new baby, so I decided to knit the little one a blanket.  The new baby has a 2-year old brother, so I didn’t want to just send something for the baby.  So I made him a Hawaiian kine quilt.  I wanted him to have something unique, that looks local.  I found these great fabrics, and hope that he will love the bright colors.

I’m now working on this same pattern in a different color yarn and will post photos of the round blankie I just finished for my own brother’s first grandchild.
