January 1st

January 2nd

A big Douglas Fir got toppled in the windstorm at the gym.

January 3rd

Snow on the Silver Star Range in Washington, across the Columbia River.

Beautiful full moon from a friend’s driveway in Gresham.

January 4th

I got a lot of great daily hummingbird actions shots so will insert them here so you can see them un-smallered in a collage.

January 5th

Food deliveries. Anybody want some onions? We had two big bags of carrots like that, too.

Hooray!!! Love your blog!!! Glad you are continuing and what a wonderful shot of the mountains-wow!!! I shall be in Portland Jan. 17-23 or thereabouts as my son and his Hawaiian family are coming for his birthday with my other son’s family there…wants to go snowboard Mt. Hood and introduce the keiki to snow 😉

    OH heck no! hahahaha Well, only so far as to let the little boys play in the snow. I gave up skiing years ago (although I wouldn’t mind cross country skiing again perhaps) (not this trip! 😉 )
