Aloha ʻOe, Oregon Big-Leaf Maple, Chapter Four

The tree-cutting was getting harder now, since some of the easier branches were already down.

And a big one bites the dust. Before getting cut, it got a hug.

 

This shows more of the rope around the big branch…

…and Ed cutting it up. We so appreciated how carefully they worked so as not to harm the driveway.

Here you have a good idea how many ropes are used to rope down a branch.

And then, OMG, he climbs up even higher.

Whew.

    I love that we can see the spray of wood chips flying off of the saw. Aue, seeing how high he is makes my feet sweat again!
