365 Days 2024, October 10

October 10th

A foggy morning.
Daily pīpī.
Hōkū.
Food delivery day.
Our neighbors’ aspens are turning.
I went to Olson Farms to get some fresh corn again; the stand was out, so Don drove to the field to pick more.
Pumpkin patch.
Lovely color along SW Birdsdale Avenue in Gresham.
And loveliness on Butler Road in Gresham.
I drove out to Big Valley Woods to have some Abuelita cocoa with a dear friend and took her some goodies, too.
Pīpī under the apple tree.
Daily hummingbird.
A lovely sunset again today! When we were looking at buying a home ʻway back when, we walked into the living room of this one and saw a similar sunset. That pretty much decided us right then and there! (We did love the rest of the house, too.)

I tried to get a photo of the Northern Lights… but sadly, couldn’t see them.

I think the sunset would have sold me too! I especially like that photo of Hōkū. The trick of perspective makes that pumpkin look *enormous* and the truck look tiny in comparison.

I love that you caught the perspective differences between the pumpkin and the pickup. I’m always happy when you notice stuff lidat. And that you loved the sunset!
