My nephew, Scott, is an amazing photographer. He is able to combine people and things in unique and wonderful ways. I especially love this photo because I love old sewing machines. He calls this one, ” as part rapunzel and part cinderella”.

Matt had to do a workaround with our a/c unit because it needs a part that won’t be here for two weeks. Arghh. Not his fault. Unfortunately, the unit stopped working late last night. So ho da hot. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get anyone out today since it’s a weekend. And even hotter today than before.

Oh my goodness, your nephew is talented!! I have always loved photography (taking them and enjoying others’ works) and the one you have shared is fabulous! I also love YOUR perspectives!! Out the window at the opthalmologist office! And as always, the hummers and flowers and your yummy yummy yarns!!!!
I agree with LTD: your nephew is VERY talented. That photo is very dream-like. And aue, no mo A/C! Hahd fo nene wen wela. Your fiber work is beautiful. So nice to have a challenge to do creative work! I’m trying to do stuff while watching the Olympics since there’s so much down time between spurts of activity (especially gymnastics and swimming). Mahaloz, as always, for da pīpī and popoki pix!
Mahalo… and you’re right about down time between spurts of activity at the Olympics. I can only watch at the gym or at night, and it’s kinda kill fight to find the stuff that I want to watch: sailing, equestrian, gymnastics…I like the swimming, too.
That first sunset hummer shot is SO lovely!
Thanks so much, Michelle! Seems like they’re the most active right around sunset. Storing up for the night, I think.

Mahalo nui! Yes, Scott takes amazing photos, and I love how he puts people and things together.
The ophthalmologist photo…it was unbelievably hot outside and I wasn’t feeling very inspired. The green looked cooler than I felt!
