My nephew, Scott, is an amazing photographer. He is able to combine people and things in unique and wonderful ways. I especially love this photo because I love old sewing machines. He calls this one, ” as part rapunzel and part cinderella”.

Ho da hot!!! Not just in Montana, but here, too. Almost 100°, and our a/c stopped working. Ack!! Our house faces makai (west) and gets the full brunt of the blazing afternoon sun.

And the heat begins in earnest. It’s been building up, and now it’s really getting hot. No me gusta!

While sorting the food for our deliveries I spied this mama practically next to my car! Then I saw her spotted fawn, but it ran off before I could get its picture.

Matt had to do a workaround with our a/c unit because it needs a part that won’t be here for two weeks. Arghh. Not his fault. Unfortunately, the unit stopped working late last night. So ho da hot. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get anyone out today since it’s a weekend. And even hotter today than before.
Washed and drying out in the sun. At least I could do this.

So nice to have a challenge to do creative work! I’m trying to do stuff while watching the Olympics since there’s so much down time between spurts of activity (especially gymnastics and swimming). Mahaloz, as always, for da pīpī and popoki pix!
Mahalo… and you’re right about down time between spurts of activity at the Olympics. I can only watch at the gym or at night, and it’s kinda kill fight to find the stuff that I want to watch: sailing, equestrian, gymnastics…I like the swimming, too.

The ophthalmologist photo…it was unbelievably hot outside and I wasn’t feeling very inspired. The green looked cooler than I felt!
