365 Days 2024, May 16-20

I think I might get caught up! You know, if I would just post one photo a day, I could easily keep up. But then I wouldn’t have all da kine about what my days have been like. And I think it’d be kind boring, too.

Food delivery day.
Blended peppermint matcha for the win at Bow and Arrow Coffeehouse in Damascus.

If I had Western Tanagers visit my yard, I’d obsess over them too. My bird song app says we have warblers (Wilson’s, Townsend’s and Yellow) in my ‘hood, but I haven’t spotted them yet.

Your action hummer photo from 5/17 makes him look like a very big bee!

The Tanagers don’t seem to stay around very long… I’m hoping that they’ll stay for nesting season, though. I think they’d be more visible if the dumbass squirrels wouldn’t keep trying to get the suet; I have to bring in the feeder when I’m not here to scare them off.
