Can you believe it? No hummingbird or pīpī photos today. It was pouring rain. I think this is the first time I haven’t had at least one photo for the day. So instead, I’ll post this IG photo of an ice hummingbird. Too beautiful!
January 8th
The daily hummingbird never showed up again! I’m kinda worried about him.
January 9th
I had a doctor appointment today; my doctor’s office is in downtown Portland. I must admit that I was a bit nervous about going down there; we haven’t been there for years and years, so Nolemana went with me. It all went fine, for which I was very grateful, and we weren’t in the heart of downtown so didn’t see any of the icky stuff at all. It’s our anniversary today, so this is what we did for excitement. Not.

A couple of your daily pīpī pix, looks like they’re thinking “Wot, boddah you?” That ice hummingbird is aMAAAAZing. We got small-kine snow too, with bone-chilling cold. I can imagine driving in Portland is frightening. Hope everything is okay.
You’re right! They do look like they’re thinking that! I hope you guys don’t get the freezing rain that we’re gonna get; it should start anytime now (4 pm Tuesday). We haven’t left the house since Friday morning.
