365 Days 2023, Numbah Eighty-Five

The pīpī keiki has a name! Jake wanted me to name him, and the name came to me in a dream.. He has such a cute spotted face…may I present Kiko! His name means ʻspottedʻ, which seems like a perfect name to me.

November 1st

We were all ova da place last month on all our holoholo.
Daily hummingbird.

November 2nd

Keola does this every morning with Nolemana. Ho da kewt!
Food deliveries.
Da daily pīpī. I love Kiko’s ears!!
Da waiting oak tree where I wait for Nolemana at da retinologist’s.
Driveway trees. What amazing autumn colors we’ve had this fall!
Big-leaf Maple shortly before sunset.
Pyracantha.
No can believe!!!!

November 3rd

Daily hummingbird.
Fog over the valley this morning.
Butler Road on my way to Gresham for a delivery. Yes, I stopped the car.
Daily pīpī.

November 4th

A special treat for you folks. Volume up!

Daily autumn hummingbird.
Keola curled up into a ball.

November 5th

Daily hummingbird and lovely valley colors.
Daily pīpī.
Pīpī and lovely autumn colors still yet.

The colors are so incredibly beautiful!

    I love, love, love that photo of Nolemana and Keola. And Kiko is a wonderful name. It’s hard to argue with something that came to you in a dream. That photo on Butler Road is so evocative. Makes me want to see what’s around the curve. What a wonderful view you guys have from your lanai. Thank you for sharing!
