365 Days 2023, Numbah Seventy-Chree

September 26th

Daily hummingbird.
Daily pīpī.
Lovely, lovely, crepuscular cloud! A friend texted me to ask if I could see it, so I rushed outside and got this photo. I love the ray that’s all the way over to the right. I stood and watched this for a long time. What a blessing to see!

September 27th

Daily hummingbird.
Mountain Ash berries even redder now.
Our walnut tree starting to change color. I love the contrast between the bark and the leaves.
Daily pīpī.
Pretty evening sky and a pīpī in the distance.

September 28th

Daily hummingbird on his favorite perch in the cloudy morning.
Burning bushes at the Realty office where we pick up our food for deliveries.
Food deliveries… we had a good amount today.
Daily pīpī…Bessie and Hōkū.
Mister Quail!
Pretty Begonias outside our front gate. The bird came from my beloved friend Carol’s garden. Oh, how I miss her!

September 29th

Motivation at the gym.
Beautiful tomatoes from our neighbors’ garden!
Daily hummingbird.

The pīpī were up in the forest again, so no photos. So sad.

September 30th

Daily hummingbird.
Pretty view of a patch of sun across the valley!
My first Kahili Ginger bloom! I wish I could put its fragrance in the bloggie.
These ones will be blooming soon.
Look how big Bessie is getting!

Your kahili ginger is so awesome. I really envy you your quail. The crepuscular clouds really should be accompanied by a chorus of angels, don’t you think?

I love the ginger, too. It’s work to save them from year to year, but totally worth it. I’ll try to post plenny quail photos for you. They’re so cute!! And absolutely yes, the crepuscular clouds should be accompanied by a chorus of angels. I love that you wrote that!!
