365 Days 2023, Numbah Seven

February 1st

Never seen a da kine like this before!

Something wants the vodka?
Plenny robins on our neighbors’ lawn today! But alas, no daily hummingbird… I watched for him but he never showed up.

February 2nd

To make up for the un-daily hummingbird from yesterday, here’s a bunch of photos from today.

Backwards flying daily hummingbird!
Food deliveries. We didn’t have a whole lot today. I always feel bad when that happens.
Snow on da mountain! And a couple of lenticular clouds, too.

February 3rd

Daily hummingbird.
Sunset daily hummingbird in the slanting rain.

February 4th

Daily hummingbird against a gray sky.
Ditto.

February 5th

Daily hummingbird.

Today we drove down to Canby to get some frozen blueberries. It rained the whole time, but we didn’t care. It was good to take a drive again. This is the beautiful barn we saw at the blueberry farm.

I love how the blueberry bushes have the red tinge during the fall and winter.
Daily hummingbird in the afternoon after we got home.
Pretty sunset with clouds above.

Kalakoa has decided to come back to her bed underneath my desk! Used to be that she, Keola, and Noelani would lie in their separate beds there, but they haven’t been back since Noelani died. Needless to say, I am delighted!

She’s content and so am I! I’m so happy to have her back in the evenings.

I’m so glad Kalakoa has returned to her under-desk bed! I wonder if cats go through a grieving process too. I especially like your sunset hummer photo from 2/3. Is dat mountain Hood or Rainier? Looks kinda like Rainier, but I can’t tell since I don’t know what Mt. Hood looks like.

Oh, I think cats definitely go through a grieving process. Keola did, too… and I think he still misses Noelani…they were best buds. Da mountain is Mt Hood… on clear days I get to see it almost every time.

One beautiful kitty! Yes, animals absolutely grieve 😦 Glad she is back oxoxo GREAT shot of Mt. Hood! That’s how I can tell where I am when I’m there, using it as my landmark hahaha
