August 26th

I got some great daily hummingbird photos today!

Wowzie!! I’m amazed that I caught this one. Check out his head!

Daily hummingbird.
Daily not-a-daily hummingbird…but a Goldfinch.

August 27th

This showed up in my email box today, and it’s so true. I’ve really been missing Ed and Carol so much lately.
Tomatoes are finally getting ripe.
Pretty Zinnia.
Okay, so yeah. I’m pretty pleased with this. Wordle.
Daily hummingbird.
Nani sunset tonight!

August 28th

Daily hummingbirds fighting over the feeder.
Mines!!
This lot across the road was totally cleared of almost every single tree (over 30 big firs). This barn was left standing, but I’m not sure for how long.
I finished the first bobbin. “Desert Sage” by Southern Cross Fibre.
Kalakoa with her shadow in the afternoon sun…waiting for dinner.

August 29th

Blurry daily hummingbird.
At my gym.
Sunset daily hummingbird.
Action shot at sunset.

August 30th

Barely visible daily hummingbird. His beak is showing through the feeder.
Missile daily hummingbird.
Goldfinches on Zinnias…how many can you spot?
They were chattering away and I loved seeing them.
I started a new bobbin of “Desert Sage”.

August 31st

Acrobatic daily hummingbird.
Very acrobatic!
Can you see part of the second one? They were really battling over the feeder today.
They move so fast that it’s hard to get photos of them, and I’m always so happy when I do.
There was so much smoke in the air from southern Oregon wildfires that we couldn’t even see the mountain today.

Gorgeous sunset; sad cleared lot. Lots of hummer shots!

Thanks, Michelle… the cleared lot really makes me sad. I guess they’re going to build a huge huge house there. Reminds me of the view you guys lost…
