March 21st

Daily hummingbird; I kinda caught his lovely red throat.
Sakura trees and daffodils along our driveway.
Daily hummingbird at evening time; lights coming on out over the valley.
Daily hummingbird in the misty evening.

March 22nd

The Flicker on the far left doesn’t really show, but the Hairy Woodpecker and the Scrub Jay do.
Daily hummingbird; and the valley is turning green!

March 23rd

Daily hummingbird in the morning.
Morning visitor; I haven’t seen her for oh, so long, and was so happy to see her again!

March 24th

Lots of daily hummingbird photos today; I couldn’t choose just one!

Food deliveries with half the food delivered already. I love when we get masa for the farm worker families.

March 25th

This Sakura tree fell over in the ice storm last year; we didn’t know if it’d make it after we propped it back up, but it did!
Sakura tree by our barn. It needs trimming, but not till nesting season is pau.

    I especially love that first hummingbird photo–the iridescence is so beautiful against the background of fog. Flowering quince is one of my favorite spring flowers. I think I spotted my first hairy woodpecker this past week, and I’m excited that they’re more common where you are. And I’m jealous that you have deer in your neighborhood. Thanks for sharing, Moki-chan!
