Montana Road Trip 2010, Chapter Forty-Seven

Well, I just finished going back and redoing all the photos from Da Mystery Road Trip Revealed from 2009.  I decided that I wasn’t happy with having all our photos messed up like that; and I’d worked too darn hard to upload them in the first place. I’m glad I did it. It took a long time, but it was worth it.

So now, here we are, back to our Montana Road Trip. Finally.

Try wait! U like see one video? K’den. Heading south through the Palouse.

We love driving through the Palouse country. All the times we’ve been through here, traffic has been minimal.

At this time of year, there’s tons of green!

But brown up from the road.

And here we are, almost to Dayton again. And still no time to explore the town!

And now we’re seeing the wind turbines again.

Try look this old barn.  It looks like it’s been patched in places and also has a big puka up near the front of it. Poor old thing.

We caught up with these two bikers. Thanks to Cousins, we learned about why bikers ride staggered like they do…so they can see better. I never knew that before.

Nice bikes!

And uphill we go!

Ho da green!

This countryside is so amazingly lovely. I would’ve loved to be on horseback riding up and down the hills.

It was so nice traveling through this area; we were so relaxed because of the beauty as well as the lack of traffic.

We’re getting closer to Dayton now, and try look! Snow on them thar hills!

This reminds me of the song, “The Green, Green, Grass of Home”. Ho, sad dat song.

We couldn’t figure out why there was that teardrop shaped area; maybe it was too steep for a hay crop?

Here we are, back in Dayton.

And its beautiful courthouse. See the cannons out front?

Leaving town again…

Waitsburg… 9 miles further on. Another cool town.

I wonder what it’s like to be on a tractor, harvesting hay, up that high!

K’den, pau for this chapter.  I can’t believe that we took this trip in 2010 and I still haven’t finished this whole series. Supah Hawaiian time foa realz.
