Birthday Handwarmers For Amanda

Amanda is my hānai mo‘opuna [granddaugher]; her folks own Hawaiian Beanz Coffee Company, my favorite home away from home. Her birthday was December 30th, but because of all the snow we had I couldn’t get them to her till today.

I’d made a similar pair for myself and just loved them, and I wanted to knit something really special for Amanda, who is a special part of my life.

I took her photo with the fish I’d knit for the shop, him with the coffee bean eyes.

The special girl and her handwarmers.

Close-up:

Another one, sorry kinda blurry…

Knit with Noro Kureyon, size 7 needles. They took one skein.
