August 27th

Not a pecked chicken, but a Naked Neck Chicken. I had no idea it was a breed! Back at Olson Farms again.
Daily pīpī. All four of them. Bessie didn’t want to turn around, though.
Black-Headed Grosbeak; I haven’t seen them for awhile.

August 28th

Another awesome webcam to watch. I think I need another two monitors!

We had tons of broccoli today.

Oak tree at the retinologist’s today.
Saw this umm….. kinda ugly…. cybertruck today. Not impressed.

August 31st

And the Amaranth. Or “Love Lies Bleeding”, which sounds a bit heartless.
Our neighbor needed to go to the ER today. It was worrisome…she’s okay now.

    I love watching the seasons change, especially via the birds on their travels through! The Loves Lies Bleeding is spectacular! And, the cyber “truck”….what a joke hahahahaha

      I agree about the cyber truck… it’s so ugly! I hear that raccoons think they’re rubbish cans and are trying to get into them.

    Wow, Naked Neck Chicken…looks like a cross between a chicken and a vulture. I thought that mystery plant was an amaranth because of the flowers, but while I’ve read about Love Lies Bleeding, I’ve never known that it looked like! Thanks for teaching me. I’m with Lady Tie Di–not a fan of the cyber truck. There are several in my ‘hood and I just think they’re ugly.

      I know, yeah? The chicken was pretty skittish; but ate the junk blueberries that we were throwing out for it. I mean, all the blueberries were great in the baskets. These ones were what wasn’t.

      I never knew that Love Lies Bleeding and Amaranth were the same thing!
