Crow on the real estate sign at our food pickup place.

I love the following photos! It looks like the hummer is inside the feeder!

No pīpī today. So sorry.
And Nolemana tested positive for Covid today. We avoided it for years now, but today it caught up with our ʻohana. I hoped I wouldn’t get it; we isolated right away from each other.

Daily hummingbird collage today.

It’s weird not having much contact with Nolemana; if he has to come upstairs, we both mask up.

Well, crappity crap. I decided to test myself. We’ve been trying so hard to be careful, too.

The test was outdated though, so I decided to go to Urgent Care and make sure, also thinking that if it was positive there, the doc could send in an Rx for Paxlovid right away. Two strikes and I was out; good news, though, my bloodwork was normal! However, the pharmacy closed before I could get there. Also, most pharmacies nearby are out of the medication. I know lotsa people don’t take it, but the doc recommended that I do.

Daily hummingbird.

No pīpī today; I don’t know where they were.

Oh golly, sorry about the ol’ -vid!!! I dodged it until last fall, myself. Yuck! And if you can get the Paxlovid, I’ve numerous friends who took it and knocked it out quickly. Darn! Also love the “hoMEOWner” sign hahahaha Hang in there!
Yuck is right~ I’m really glad we could get Paxlovid and that I didn’t have to drive 35 minutes away to get it. Like you, I dodged it till Nolemana brought it home from who knows where. I’m glad we both had pretty mild cases.
Thanks for stopping by!
SO glad you had mild cases! The newer variant does seem to be less virulent. Onward and forward.
I agree… onward and forward from here.
Aue! You guys have been so careful. I know several more people up here who have it, including friends who live in a co-housing community (lots of smaller individual cottages around a larger common community space).
Your quail are so cute. And I love that homeowner sign too. Hope you guys are recovering nicely.
I know… we’ve been SO careful, so real kill fight to get it now. We’re getting better, but still get some lingering symptoms.
