365 Days 2024, March 10-15

Jake and Jake2 came over today and started the burn pile. The cows loved the warmth!

Lone daffodil in the forest; we didn’t plant it there and I love it.

And more! I love the randomness of it.
We did plant these ones.
Daily hummingbird; it’s blurry, but try look the green on his wings!

March 12th

Watching the Old Faithful streaming webcam and saw these guys! They’re gonna have to be my daily pīpī today because ours never showed up.

Try look what was playing at da gym today! Chee hoo!

Anden dis one! One of the employees at the gym, up at the front desk, is Samoan and loves local kine music. I love when he’s there.

Daily hummingbird.
Sideways rain.

March 13th

Nolemana and Bessie in the middle of a “mooooooooo”.
Daily hummingbird and nani clouds.
…and during a nani sunset.

March 14th

Very tall food delivery! (He doesn’t do that anymore; some of it goes inside the pickup.)
Plenny asparagus today.

Eddie couldn’t get all his stuff into his kawila…usually his dad gets the delivery but he was out of town.

Daily hummingbird.

March 15th

Daily pīpī.
Daffodils along the driveway. Oh, how I love them!

LOL…this is all I could get of the daily hummingbird today. Only his tail!

OOOOOOOOH, I didn’t know there was an Old Faithful cam! I’m gonna check that out! And have you been watching the Barred Owlets and Great Horned Owlets on the Cornell Bird Cams? I don’t love seeing what their parents feed them, but I understand that’s necessary for the Owlets and the environment.

I love that photo of Bessie and Nolemana!

Sooooo nani, your sunset photos! And your sideways rain photo is very artsy. Your random daffodil photos remind of that old adage “Bloom where you’re planted.”

    Thanks for sharing, Moki-chan!

I love the Yellowstone cam and all the Cornell ones. Like you, I don’t always like to see what the raptors feed their keiki… especially when they’re manu. But like you say, it’s necessary for the babies.

“Bloom where you’re planted”… so true, yeah? Not always easy sometimes, but that too, is necessary.

      Mahalo nui, sista!
