365 Days 2023, Numbah Eighty-Three

Nolemana and I did several Autumn Holoholo Advenchas, but if I post them all now, I’ll never get caught up with the daily photos. So I think I’ll save those adventures for the darkness of winter, because we won’t be doing much holoholo’ing then. We’ve got ukubillion photos, so it’s gonna take awhile to get everything uploaded anyway. We had some great adventures, so stay tuned!

October 21st

Da daily pīpī. Bessie and Lani Moo.
Daily hummingbird in fog.
We went to a birthday party for a special friend today.
Bonus daily pīpī photo.

October 22nd

Two daily hummingbirds! IT’s been awhile since I’ve managed to see two of them here.
Whoo hoo!! Orvill came over and patched the huge puka in our driveway!
Our neighbors’ maples are changing fast now.

Small kine explanation. Every year Nolemana takes my photo in front of Halloween decorations. Usually it’s the cat at Boring Bark, but this year, no more kitty. So we did a spider, instead. It was very friendly.

Our other neighbors’ trees… they were exceptional this year!
Da daily pīpī.
The calf was nursing, so hard to catch him today.

October 23rd

Daily pīpī… calf still scratching on the pole.
Daily hummingbird.

October 24th

Daily hummingbird. The marigolds are still blooming.
Da daily pīpī.
So cute da calf! I’m wondering if his daddy is a Hereford because of the calf’s markings.

Keola had to go to the vet today; these are the pictures on the wall. I love them!

Even though I’d given Keola a bunch of Gabapentin to calm him down before the visit, it still took three techs and a purrito in order to draw blood.
And the little stinker got into all the treats before I could stop him…and shortly after that, threw up all over the floor. Sheesh!

October 25th

Stretching daily hummingbird.

Fall colors in Damascus.

My friend Sara sent me this photo while she was in Vermont; I knit these handwarmers for her several years ago!
Daily pīpī and fall colors.
I did a little bit of spinning today.

Aue. I don’t know who to feel more sorry for–you or Keola! I think that spider might look a leeeetle too friendly. Mahaloz fo da daily pīpī. And ho da nani da colors you wen spin.

Keola is up and down puke-wise. Our vet things he’s got Irritable Bowel Disease…which makes total sense to me. He’s such a special boy, and we’re trying hard to get things under control. Fortunately, the spider couldn’t move!
