August 1st

Daily acrobat hummingbird.
Two daily hummingbirds!
Pretty flowers along the driveway.
We had dinner tonight with friends at Noodle Man in Happy Valley. Yummy!!!
Pīpī around the corner from us. Wouldnʻt want to neglect them!
Daily pīpī running to the barn for treats! Lani Moo and Hōkū,

August 2nd

Daily hummingbird… can you spot it?
Daily pīpī.
Bumblebee on a marigold blossom.
Spinning at Happy Valley Park with Da Gathering today.
Kinda hard to spin with a kitty on me.

August 3rd

Our zinnias are amazing!! Bush beans, too.
Lovely marine layer… a welcome relief from the hot days.
Food deliveries… get plenny mangos today!
Try look da gigantic pulley at our friends’ house.

Salmon furikake for dinner!! My favorite way to fix salmon.

    Wow, dat furikake salmon looks sooooo ono! I’m gonna have to try that! Do you layer mayo on it first? All da pīpī, kitty, flower and hummer photos made me so happy. Mahaloz, Moki-chan!

      It’s incredibly ono! I mix mayo with a little bit shoyu, then spread it over the dry salmon really thick. Sometimes I use lemon juice in the mixture, too. Bake in preheated (425°) oven for 20 minutes. I also put the salmon on non-stick foil. Now my mouth is watering again!
