365 Days 2023, Numbah Forty-Seven

July 9th

Daily hummingbird.
Daily pīpī.
Zinnias.
It’s hard to not take more photos of the girls! The heifer on the left is the calf’s mama. Bessie is the heifer’s mama.

July 10th

Today’s post get choke photos!

Daily hummingbird.
I bought his anthurium in Seaside, Oregon, about eight years ago, and it’s blooming for the first time today!! Our neighbor back home had tons of them on her front porch, so anthuriums always remind me of home.
Our first zucchini is coming along.
Daily pīpī,

I was outside and managed to get some cool daily hummingbird photos.

I love this one!! And yes, I was still outside!
Better zucchini photo.
Zinnia.
I learned a new word/s today, and that is that this is a brockle-faced calf. White down the middle with color on the sides.

Oh yeah, I’m still doing Tour de Fleece! It was a rest day for the cyclists, but I did some spinning anyway.

Mooooooo! Thank you for teaching me about brockle-face cows! So da pīpī in yo’ pasture are grandma, mama, and baby? That’s terrific. Makes such a difference when you don’t have to shoot photos through glass, yeah? Great hummer photos, Moki-chan!

Yeah, da pīpī stay da kupuna wahine, da makuahine, and da kaikamahine. At first I thought Bessie was da mama of da calf, but nope. So da makuahine stay older than I thought she was. And I do love when I can get photos that arenʻt through the glass!
