365 Days 2023, Numbah Twenty-Four

April 16th

I drove out to Eagle Creek again to help Tom by helping him again; he had scheduled another last sale of Laura’s fiber and knitting stuff. Sadly, no one turned up in the three hours that I and another friend were there, but the three of us had a nice visit together. These sculptures are along SE Dowty Rd near the golf course on my way home; I had to take a photo of them!

Today after I got home I was able to get tons of daily hummingbird photos, so I’ll let the photos roll.

I love the lighting in this photos. The hummer on the right was chasing off the one on the left. Peace no more.
Peace now, but that didn’t last long! I really am pleased with the action photos I was able to get.
Love this one, too!

Susie and I met with a housebound friend for lunch today, and check out what Susie brought!

April 20th

This is what our food delivery pickup looks like; some days it’s much higher and fuller. After it’s unloaded, Dave and Nolemana and I sort it and divide it all.
We couldn’t fill all our boxes today.
After food deliveries, I had to take Nolemana to his retinology appointment. Here I am back at “my” oak tree again.
Nani flowers along Main Street in Lake Oswego.
Two daily hummingbirds!
Not a great photo, but interesting to see one chasing off the other one.

Wow, terrific light for your hummer photos on 4/16. Great cloud backgrounds for your photos on the 19th. What is that acorn-shaped structure? Is it another feeder or is it a house?

    • Mokihana says:

It’s a birdhouse…it belonged to my dear friend, Carol. I wanted to have something from her garden and her husband said I could have this, bless his heart. I also have a garden angel that belonged to Carol. I still miss her desperately, and it helps to have these mementos of her.

I agree- the rain clouds make for a dramatic backdrop to all the action with the hummers!!! And that fence around the yard of sculptures is rad!!! I’d totally love that around my place 😉 oxoxox

I’d love those sculptures, too… I think I took another photo of them… gonna try search for it.
