April 1st

I got several great action shots today of the daily hummingbird.

I especially like this one.
Ummm… yeah. that would be snow.
Scrapping daily hummingbirds at sunset.

April 2nd

Guess what happened today?

There wasn’t a lot, but it was still snow.
Blurry daily hummingbird.
I barely got these photos today; the daily hummingbird had the zoomies and it was hard to catch him!

April 3rd

Pondering life daily hummingbird.

      Hi Roger… we’re lucky to have the hummers around year ’round. When it’s below freezing I rotate feeders during the day so that there’s always food for them.

    Da joke was on us with April 1st snow! I especially like your hummer at sunset photo on 4/3. Three flickers at once! That’s very exciting.

      No kidding about the snow! We’ve had April snow before and it always seems like a surprise. I had two flickers today, but no camera with me! Shoots. And I’m always happy when I get a sunset photo of the hummers.
