365 Days, Numbah Forty-Two

August 6th

A very sad day today.
We had to say aloha ʻoe to Miss Beatrice today. She had foundered and the vet said it was time to let her go. Miss B was 32 years old and had lived here in retirement for eight years.
I am going to miss seeing like this. She has been part of my life for so long, and I’ve loved seeing her out in the pasture.
Four ‘o Clocks blooming in the morning.
Three finished skeins drying in the sun.
Daily hummingbird at sunset.

August 7th

Mourning dove!
So pretty, and so close!
Kinda artsy-fartsy through the screen.
Daily hummingbird.

August 8th

Bunny in the driveway.
Los tres amigos. My “brothers” at da gym.
Pīpī for AFK.
And yes, I did moo at her to get her to look at me.
Planning our trip to the wedding in Leavenworth.
Daily hummingbird.
I like this one!

August 9th

Dos daily hummingbirds together!
They’re even on the same tomato cage!
Pretty sunset photos. I love these cloud formations.
Nani sunset!

August 10th

Mourning doves at the bottom of our driveway.
Hollyhocks blooming.

Today is the anniversary of my special friend Carol’s death. She loved purple, so I took lots of purple flower photos in her memory. I guess I love purple, too, yeah?

Young Grosbeak taking a bath on a hot day.
Daily hummingbird.
