Oh my gosh, I forgot to let you know what I was knitting! I’ll blame it on the fact that I was really sick from December 5th till now. As a matter of fact, I’ll blame my silence since November on that. Actually, it’s a good reason. I couldn’t stop coughing and ended up twice at the doctor’s. It was the virus from hell; I’m doing better now, mahalo ke Akua.
Well, here you go: this is what you were guessing what it was:
And this is the end result. It’s a Montana Moose Hat in honor of the first moose I ever saw in my life…in Yellowstone.
And today, because we’re in the middle of 7″ of snow, I took a photo of it out on the lānai.
It’s wonderful!
Thanks, Michelle! I should put it out on the snow today and get another photo of it. The brim is double, so I love wearing it in this cold weather.
Too good, you, Moki-chan! Ho da nani!
I’m sorry you were ill, but I’m glad you’re doing better.
Mahalo nui! I love dis hat! Doing better now foa shua…. except foa da cabin fever. Getting out foa holoholo ka’a today!
