17 July: Spinning for Tour de Fleece. Actually, I think I should call it Tour da Fleece. LOL.

18 July: ‘Way cool knitted knitted deer at Littlelamb and Ewe Yarn Shop in Gresham, Oregon.

19 July: Spinning Merino/Tencel for the first time. Can’t say I will spin it again but the colors and sheen are pretty.

20 July: Kalakoa decides that she wants to help me spin.

21 July: Pau Tour da Fleece. ( know, I know. I awreddy wen post dis photo.

22 July: Two Black-Headed Grosbeaks and a Goldfinch at the feeder.

23 July: Cool clouds in Happy Valley, Oregon.

24 July: Paul Young, author of “The Shack”, spent the day at The Gathering. Oh, what a fabulous time we had!!

25 July: ’57 Chevy!

26 July: Two rescued Joe Jorgensen myrtlewood spinning wheels.

27 July: New winding station built by Wayne Tong, an amazing woodcrafter.

28 July: Bachelor Buttons in my friend’s garden.

29 July: Pau my very first lace shawl da kine! See da paw prints in it? I wen make dis in honor of my beloved ʻUkulele pōpōki.

30 July: Two photos today.

Willamette Falls in Oregon City. Ho da dry!! And wassap wit da changing colors awreddy!!

And what I was spinning on my spinning day with my friend. It’s called “Flame”.

31 July: Deer munching in our neighbors’ garden. Ai yah!

1 August: My friend Jo spinning on one of the rescued wheels. Story about that coming soon!

2 August: For my special friend, AFK.

    oh I loved this post! LOVE that knitted deer head. Is this a pattern I could buy? And ‘specially loved your shawl with the paw prints in it-and your lovely yarn….
