On February 25th, I wrote that although I didn’t take the photo of the day I was including it anyway, because it was my youngest daughter’s birthday and I wanted to honor her that way.
Well, today is my eldest daughter’s birthday, and I’m doing the same for her. I will be telling Leilani her birthday story later on tonight as she snuggles in bed. She was born in Idaho while a big snowstorm was going on outside; the delivery room had a skylight and I could see big fat snowflakes coming down outside.
Hauʻoli lā hānau e Leilani, my beloved first-born daughter. I love you!
Happy birthday, lovely Leilani, and her beautiful mom, Moki-chan! Many happy returns of the day!
(Wow, planny February birtdays, yo family, Moki-chan!)
Oh your daughter is beautiful!
