The horses were safe in the pasture. All of us had been praying that the transition would go smoothly, and so far it couldn’t have gone better.
Poem seemed very relaxed and unconcerned about what was going on around her. She walked around a bit.
Soon Ricky joined her. He looked around while she munched grass.
Then Ricky munched grass while Poem looked around.
Then Poem munched grass while Ricky looked around.
Then they both decided to explore a bit.
Rayado (llamas are very niele creatures), just watched.
Suddenly, the horses caught sight of Rayado and the sheep! I could hear the wheels turning!
They got pretty excited and began to run.
Try look their legs… perfectly matched!
They turned around and ran the other way!
Then back the other way!
They settled down for a bit… the grass was calling them.
It’s easy to tell they’re old friends and like each other’s company. For now, the sheep, llamas, goat and dog have been ignored.
But Rayado, the sheep, and the goat weren’t ignoring them! He was still as a statue.
More photos coming in ‘Ekolu… next time.
Oh Weeeeee! This is so much fun! I’m so glad the horses are taking to their new home so smoothly. Just shows you that they are in the right place. It’s easier on them both to have each other’s company. Looking forward to the next batch of photos 😀
Dis is how you keep one babooze in suspense – you tell dem get moah!
What gorgeous horses those are! Funny pix, too, of them getting all excited by the other beasties in the paddock!
Oooh…drama!
