Mokihana’s Hawaiian Quilting Journey: Class!

I’ve kinda put my quilting project on hold, and have been concentrating on my beadwork, knowing that this coming weekend (August 21-22) I’ll be lucky enough to be taking a class from Nancy Chong, one of the premiere Hawaiian quilting teachers around. I’m leaving here on Thursday night so that I can be in Philomath first thing Friday morning.

I’m really excited about this! Not only do I get to have 2 days off work, but I get to take this fantastic class at Jannilou Creations. I’m eager to learn everything that I can, and looking forward to spending two days in community with other quilters. I wonder if I’ll be the only Hawaiian girl there.
