Holoholo Kaʻa to Trout Lake 2023 – Chapter Five and Pau.
We left the Wildlife Refuge and headed back along Trout Lake Road, ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the lovely larches. I thought we’d taken videos of driving along the road, but I guess we didn’t. Cuz I can’t find them!

Holoholo Kaʻa to Trout Lake 2023 – Chapter Two
And here we go! The thing about the Pacific Northwest is that we can go mauka (toward the mountains) in two different directions! We just turned mauka (north) along Highway 141 in Washington State.
