Well, I can’t wait till I’m caught up to post this! I couldn’t wait to share it with you, AFK! What a surprise we got this morning! Someone’s peeking out at me from behind the apple tree!

Ho da kewt!! Spots over its eyes! (We don’t know yet if it’s girl or boy.)

We didn’t think Bessie was due till next month! I think s/he was born last night about 5 pm. I’d taken a long distance shot of the cows, but until I zoomed in on the photo today, I didn’t see the brand new calf! See what I mean?

But now try look!

This is so exciting!! Jake and Sarah will put Bessie and baby inside the barn tonight since the coyotes have been singing the songs of their people very nearby lately.
