Today a Cooper’s Hawk decided to check out my bird feeders. I let him stay long enough to get a video of him surveying things. I apologize for the shakiness of the video; I was trying to gently breathe and hold my phone still at the same time! After I got the video, I chased him off. It was pretty quiet out there for quite a while even after he left. Hope you enjoy the music, too.

Wow! Glad that Hawk didn’t use your feeder as a buffet. But how special to see the Hawk up close. Thank you for sharing the video (and the Keola Beamer track. And no, I didn’t recognize the tune–I had to Shazam it.)
I think he was hoping to find a manu buffet, but I was watching very carefully. Gotta protect my friends! I know he has to eat, but I’d prefer he’d catch a squirrel that’s raiding my feeders!
