January 13th

We had a whole bunch of very foggy mornings; some days the fog didn’t lift until mid-afternoon!

I pulled Kalakoa’s side fur out to make her look ferocious. It didn’t work. LOL.

January 14th

Daily hummingbird. I wonder how he finds his way to the feeder in such dense fog.

January 15th

Māhealani ka pō mahina. This is the Māhealani moon in the Hawaiian lunar calendar, just setting this morning.

Low-lying fog over Olsons’ Farm.

Daily hummingbird bullet. Or a UFO?

Fog through the trees, mid-afternoon, at The Gathering.

January 16th

Food delivery day.
Another foggy day for the daily hummingbird.

It was super foggy on my deliveries today.

I kept telling myself that if I didn’t know where I was, I wouldn’t know where I was!

January 17th

Daily hummingbird.
My Amaryllis is blooming!
Kalakoa…ho da kewt.

I kakaroached this photo from the Maui Sands webcam. It was such a lovely evening back home.

January 18th

Kalakoa under my computer desk. I have three beds down there, for her, Noelani, and Keola. I haven’t had the heart to remove them.

Flicker at the feeder.

January 19th

Two Flickers through the screen.
Daily hummingbird.

January 20th

No fog!

Concentrating on this amazing man today.

I just mesmerised by kalakoa, and the beauty of the place.

I love this sentence: “…if I didn’t know where I was, I wouldn’t know where I was!” That’s what my life feels like on some days!

Kalakoa is such a beautiful kitty. And so tolerant! Brushing her side fur out like that–she looks like she’s thinking “There had better be a treat in this for me, Mom!”

Hummingbird bullet! I’m gonna steal that expression.

Haha.. I’m glad you like the sentence…it just came to me while I was driving in the almost white-out.

Kalakoa is always always looking for treats! She especially has to have one right before bed. Not that I spoil her or anything.

    Steal away!!
