365 Days 2024, November 21-30

I think what I’m going to have to do is just post photos without a lot of comment in order to catch up!

November 21st

The guys from AMEN, where we get our food for deliveries from, helped us out today because Chris’ pickup was in the shop.

Daily hummingbird.

November 22nd

November 23rd

Crazy daily hummingbird shot. Heh heh. Not.

But I got it and the daily hummingbird, too!

November 24th

November 25th

I’m really happy about these sunset/daily hummingbird photos.

November 26th

November 27th

I love the low fog/clouds when they’re like this!

November 28th

My favorite breakfast/lunch at Elmer’s. German pancake for the win. We met our daughters here for Thanksgiving breakfast.

November 29th

The AMEN guys helped us out again this week.

The crow watched it all.

I’m treasuring all my moments with Keola. His face is dirty because it’s getting harder and harder for him to eat. This is what’s so awful about his diagnosis: he acts totally normally, purring, cuddling, talking to me, all day long. I help him clean his face when he’s pau cleaning his paw, which he uses to scoop up his food.

November 30th

Josh came over and helped us to clean up all the leaves.
Not a daily hummingbird again.
I made more progress on my hat.

That is such a sweet photo of Keola. And what a good cat mom you are.

So nani, yo’ papale. Great color choices.

Terrific photos of your hummer and the sunset. I wonder what they think of helicopters. Do you know hummers start mating and nest building as early as November or December? We saw four hummers in our dogwood tree yesterday, so we did some research on some of the behaviors we saw. They are endlessly fascinating.

You’re so sweet.. I try to be a good cat mama. And I’m glad you liked the hat. More photos coming.

I didn’t know about the nest building in November/December. Wow! So far I’ve only seen one or two hummers here during the days. I love that you saw four. I’m so excited for you!
