365 Days 2024, October 9

October 9th

Lani Moo, da daily pīpī.

Two photos of my precious Kalakoa in da sun.

She’s so adorable!

I was having trouble getting daily hummingbird photos, and I thought maybe it was because they didn’t like the sunflowers being so close to their perch on the tomato cages. So I asked Nolemana to move the sunflowers, and the hummers are definitely happier.

We’ve been having some pretty amazing sunsets lately, and I’m drinking them all in. They make perfect bookends to Michelle’s sunrise photos.

Oh, that first sunset photo! I think that beats all sunrise photos I’ve gotten!

Lani Moo looks like she’s ready to defend her territory. (I not goin’ say she like beef.) The first photo of Kalakoa looks like she’s posing as a feline fatale–very coy. Funny what the hummers like and don’t like–I wonder why they prefer the sunflowers to be farther away. I share Michelle’s admiration for your sunset photos–maika`i no.
