Evening in New Zealand. See the keiki albatross?

Spinning merrily along…
Oh, so bad I want to floof that belly!!
Daily pīpī.

ʻO Hoku ka pō mahina. Hoku is the name of the full moon in Hawaiian. I was up at 4:37 this morning and tried to take a decent photo of it.

This is Hōkū, the cow. Same spelling, but different emphasis on the vowels. This is Hōkū, which means “star”.

Daily hummingbird? Not! The Stellerʻs Jay was attacking the sunflower seeds!
Daily hummingbird ontop da zinnia. Nah nah nah.

Iʻm extremely pleased with these next two photos! I rarely get this kind of clarity.

She let me get this close!!!

Very tall sunflowers.

I met with two close friends at Red Lobster today. We each got a dessert…

…and shared them! Ho da yummy! And sharing is caring, yeah?

Wow, laulau, those are fantastic hummer photos. And what a cute noise she was making–if I got that close, my neighborhood hummers would be chewing me out. Your spinning color matches Kalakoa! And why in the WORLD were you awake at 4:30 am? (Although sometimes when I have to get up to shishi, I also step onto our lanai to take moon photos…)
