August 16th

Spinning for a Gray-a-Long on Ravelry
Our first tomatoes! The little ones were supposed to be Romas. Instead we got mini-Romas. They’re still good, though.

    I wonder if Kiko is reaching the bovine equivalent of teenage rebellion. I don’t know if you got to enjoy the thunder and lightning on 8/17 amidst your power outage. G *loves* thunderstorms, Midwest boy that he is. We were lucky that we didn’t lose power and got to enjoy the free fireworks show. I especially liked your 8/18 hummer photo with his/her wings and tail outstretched.
