July 23rd

Daily pīpī. These days it’s kinda unusual to see them all together. Dunno why.

Here’s a few daily hummingbird photos. They’ve been really active lately.

Daily hummingbird and zinnias.

The hummers are in competition with bees, not just themselves. I didn’t realize till I was editing the photo that I’d gotten the bee in this photo!

July 24th

Oh my gosh, I love this shot! I was so lucky to get it.

Whoo hoo!! So happy with these next ones!

July 25th

Babies are getting so big!!! Iris is such a good mom.
Sum-eh, the eldest, is strengthening his muscles, getting ready for flight!
Food delivery day.
Daily pīpī.
Dos daily hummingbirds.
Get plenny food, but they still scrap. Sheesh.

    You so lucky to get hummers at your feeders summertime. Mine don’t come in the summer, so I don’t hang it up. You’re so patient in getting your photos–you get such great ones! I love watching the Hellgate Ospreys too.

      I’m really glad they stick around all year…and I have to refill the feeders at least once a week, which is surprising with so many flowers around.

      Both the osprey babies have fledged…I’m gonna miss seeing them, though they do come back every day for short times.
