365 Days 2024, January 19th/Icemaggedon – Friday

Poor daily hummingbird having to perch on an icy tomato cage.
Melting is so slow, but it’s happening.

Uh-oh. The power is out again.

My poor rose bush!
I can’t remember what these ones are!
The glass on our deck is still iced up.
The Junco thinks he’s a daily hummingbird again.
First time I’ve caught him in flight! So exciting!

I bet my Japanese fishing floats wonder what’s going on!

Jake and Jake2 came over to feed the daily missing from my photos pīpī.
Kalakoa snuggled with me; she was cold, too!

I feel so bad and am so grateful for all the crews working to restore our power in this brutal cold.

A sweet Fox Sparrow came by today!
Keola was pretty snuggly, too. He’s a short-haired kitty, so since we didn’t have heat, I covered him up in a blankie.
It’s still very icy down there. Can you see the only daily pīpī?
Daily wanna be hummingbird. The tomato cages are still iced up.
