Daily Hummingbird Fails

You folks get to see mostly successful daily hummingbird photos, but don’t see all the failed ones, the ones I never post. They are numerous foa shua. So here’s some of them, just since August 2023. Some of the fails are pretty spectacular, don’t you think?

Hahahahaha! One of the most spectacular ones for sure.
No tail on this poor hummer!
Or this one, either.
It happens at sunset, too.
It’s a borb!
Barely visible.
Hidden hummer.
Mokihana, moa betta u clean da sliding door!
Another hidden hummer.
One-winged hummer.
All tail here.
Woulda been okay if I’d caught all of him!
Bye bye…..
And away he goes…

I’ve deleted a whole bunch of junk photos, and there were plenny of ’em. Hope you’ve enjoyed these ones!

    Thanks for the laughs! I especially liked the ones that you said (1) you needed to clean the sliding door and (2) all tail. The hummers are too quick for our own good!

      They really are. And I didn’t even talk about all the times I had the camera ready, waiting for them to show up! Glad you enjoyed the laughs!
