365 Days 2023, Numbah Eighty-One, continued again

October 15th

Autumn Advencha Numbah Two, Chapter Chree.

We crossed over Nowlen’s Bridge in Scotts Mills. We weren’t going to go home that way but wanted to get a photo of the creek.

Heading back into town, we stopped at the fire station to take a couple of photos.

I’m always so grateful for the firefighters who do their very best to protect us.

We came home this way so that I could take several photos of this cow for AFK because of her very unusual markings. Oh. Da cow’s, not AFK’s!!

Isn’t she beautiful?
And try look the one in the middle! So unusual! I wish I knew what breed these are. I was too chicken to drive up to the house and ask the owners. Da daily pīpī for today.
Remember that newish barn from my last post? This small one was in the same field as that one. Too cute!
Very old barn. Poor thing, all falling apart.
This poor old house…I wish it could talk. We were driving back into Scotts Mills at this point and planned on taking the scenic route back home.
We crossed back over Scotts Mills Creek again.
We saw this cool log home being built.
Pretty Fall color along the way.
We crossed the Molalla River; we were back on Highway 213 again, heading north.
Remember the corn field from before? Here it is again…I could smell the aroma of corn as we passed by.
“Our” mountain came into view!
Back at home with da daily hummingbird at sunset. “Our” cows weren’t to be seen, so we had to make do with the ones we saw on our drive.

Hope you enjoyed our autumn holoholo! Thanks fir riding shotgun! Our trip info for today.

What a nice holoholo you guys had. I often tell my odder half that I’m like a dog because I love going riding in the car.
I looked up that cow–it’s a “Speckle Park.” It’s apparently a modern Canadian breed created by cross-breeding British Aberdeen Angus and Shorthorns. It was very pretty!

Oh wow! Mahaloz for looking up that cow breed for me. I’d never heard of that breed before. Makes me want to go back and talk to the owners now.

I love car rides too… and I get question: do you open your window and stick out your tongue on drives? LOL!!!!!
