365 Days 2023, Numbah Seventy-Six

October 5th

All ova da place last month!
Big surprise this morning, and I we didn’t think that it would happen this soon. When I first looked, I couldn’t even see the surprise.
But when I zoomed in, guess what I saw! Our newest daily pīpī!! A little boy pīpī this time.
Daily hummingbird, fog, zinnias, tomatoes, and marigolds.
Maple tree across the road… it’s so beautiful in the fall.
Food deliveries.
It’s possible to bloom anywhere.
Burning Bushes where we pick up the food for deliveries.
Pyracantha along Tong Road in Damascus.
Quail!!!!!
Lovely colors along SW Birdsdale Ave in Gresham not to far from where I deliver food.
The mountain was out today! Along SE 282nd Avenue in Boring.
Backwards-flying daily hummingbird!

Mahalo nui! It’s a lot of fun watching him growing. Every morning I look out at the pasture to check him out. Bessie kept him pretty well hidden for the first few days, letting him out occasionally to follow her around.

I love seeing quail! I learned to identify pyracantha this year. So beautiful, all the fall color. So glad Bessie’s little bull is doing well.

I’m always so happy when I can see the quail; I hope they stay through the winter. I know some people called it FIrethorn instead of Pyracantha, but I like Pyracantha better. Yes, the calf is doing well… he’s so stinkin’ cute!!
