I got a terrific recipe for marinara sauce from a friend on mine…so easy, and it’s so easy!! Way better than store-bought! With lots of our tomatoes, I made the first two batches.

Two daily hummingbirds on a very smoky morning.Da daily pīpī. See how hāpai Besie is looking? Chicken skin and wai maka from the last lines of this beautiful book. I read it over and over again, and each time got choked up. This was a wonderful book, and I highly recommend it.

I baked more zucchine bread today.Whoo hoo!! We got a bit of rain today!! Yeah, we really did have planny smoke. My eyes watered for days and days. I knew you’d find the daily hummer! I’ve been really enjoying the tomatoes; last year was a bust but this year’s much better.
