August 4th

Let’s start the day off by watching Lani Moo munch on this dried grass da kine. It sure doesn’t look very appetizing, but she seemed to like it. Kinda.
For the rest of today’s post, we’ll have a plethora of hummingbird photos. Why? Because not only could I not decide which ones to use (I still didn’t use all of them!), I got a couple of pretty amazing photos.

Oh my gosh, suddenly there were three of them!! This hardly ever happens!

Then the magic happened!!!! Four daily hummingbirds!! This has never happened before!

You won’t believe what happened next!! Five, yes five, daily hummingbirds!

Be still my heart!!

The next day, we put up three hummingbird feeders! I still have a hard time believing I was able to catch this magical time. I hope you enjoyed seeing them as much as I did. I’m still in awe that I was able to see so many hummingbirds at the same time.
You know, when I started doing the daily hummingbird, I had no idea how much happiness it’d bring to my life. I have to use stealth sometimes, I have to practice patience, and I have to look for opportunities to catch these jeweled creatures in action. Before, I’d enjoy seeing the tiny birds and loved seeing them at the feeders, but until I started photographing them I didn’t know what fun it’d be to catch them in all their acrobatics as they zoomed around the feeders. Doing the daily hummingbird has really enriched my life, and I love that others are enjoying it with me.

Five hummingbirds!!!!! That’s amazing! My jaw dropped as I read your bloggie! Did they start scrapping after you got the photos? Congrats, Moki-chan!
I know, yeah??? Not too much scrapping after that but ended up only a couple of them stayed. I still can’t believe I got so many!!
