Remembering my soul kitty, ʻUkulele. Oh, how I miss my girl.

I got more outside daily hummingbird photos today!

Jake came over today and got rid of a scrubby bush. I loved watching him work!

He also got rid of our very, very, old satellite dish! I tried to suggest that someone might want to use it for a giant wok, but had no takers. I wonder why.

Of course, I had to take videos! I’m sorry this first one is so jiggly… sheesh. Volume up to hear the crashing sounds.
Funny story that might explain my fascination with watching equipment work. Back home in high school our teacher had us take tests that would help us determine our interests for future employment, etc. Mines came out that I should be a forest ranger dealing with all kinds of equipment. Well, that sure didn’t happen. Instead, I majored in creative writing in college.

`Ukulele was such a pretty cat. That hole in the heart never quite goes away, does it. I’m so glad Kalakoa soothes your heart. Thank you for my daily pīpī fix! I especially liked your first outdoor hummer shot. I never knew you majored in creative writing!
She was beautiful indeed; I got her as a kitten and loved her all of her 16 years. And you’re right… the hole in my heart never goes away. I have her photo on my lock screen on my phone.
Yeah, creative writing.. I guess my blog is a shout-out to that…
