Wow. Two of them!
Forget-Me-Nots in bloom.
Crummy photo, but it shows two of them actually pretty close to each other.

May 7th

Try look!!! ʻEkolu hummingbirds!!
It’s so interesting to watch them battling over the feeder. There’s another one there, but no, they want the same one.
One got vanquished.
Lilacs blooming in the garden outside my office. These were a gift from a dear friend many years ago.
Sideways rain smacking the windows.
Anden da hail came.

May 8th

Nani flower baskets at Olson Farms in Damascus.
Lovely fuchsias.
Rain moving in.
Daily hummingbird; da Rufous guy.
One at the bar, one waiting. Still no sharing.
Sunset sharing. Finally.

May 9th

Daily hummingbird/s, sharing the space.
Hahahaha at da gym.
We got caught in another hailstorm when we went back to Olson Farms to choose a hanging plant.
Big kine hailstones.
This is the one I chose. Nani, yeah?
Then the rain came pouring down!

Kane bunny was chasing this wahine bunny all over the garden. He wouldn’t leave her alone!

There was so much pouring rain and hail today that my daily hummingbird never showed up. So sad!

Wow, laulau! Still can’t believe you got sooo much hail so late in the season. I love your choice of hanging basket–so nani da petunias. Are you bunnies destructive? I love the bunnies in our ‘hood, but that’s b/c I have no ground-level plants from them to munch. Thanks for sharing!

Mahalo! I bought the basket because of the petunias.. I think they’re called Night Sky. So far, the bunnies aren’t destroying anything, but I’m keeping a close watch on them. I really do love having them… so far.
